Baccarat Rules
Online Baccarat is dealt after players place their bets on either Player, Banker or Tie. The dealer turns over 2 cards on the "Banker" side (B1 + B2) and 2 more on the "Player" side. (P1 + P2). The total for each side is calculated by adding the 2 cards together and taking the one's place of the sum. For instance, if the cards are 6 + 8 the total is 14 then disregard the ten's place so the baccarat total is 4. Ten - King are to be counted as 0.
Once 2 cards are dealt for both Player and Banker, there are a set of rules the dealer used to determine if more cards are necessary.
- If (P1 + P2 = 8 or 9) or (B1 + B2 = 8 or 9), then it is called a "Natural" and the hand is over, the dealer pays the bets that win (higher total).
- If (P1 + P2 = 6 or 7) then Player stands...
a) If Banker has 0 - 5, Banker draws 1 card.
b) If Banker has 6 - 9, Banker stands.
- If (P1 + P2 <= 5),
a) Player draws 1 card (P3)
b) Banker hand draws one card when one of the following is true:
(B1+B2 = 3) & (P3 <> 8)
(B1+B2 = 4) & (2 <= P3 <= 7)
(B1+B2 = 5) & (4 <= P3 <= 7)
(B1+B2 = 6) & (6 <= P3 <= 7)
- If the result is not a Natural (see above), the hand closest to 9 wins (or the hand with higher score wins). Winning bets made on Banker are paid after taking a 5% commission. If Banker's and Player's hands have the same score, Tie bet wins and gets paid 9:1, and both Banker's and Player's bets are tie (and players keep their bets).

Baccarat Strategy
The best strategy for online baccarat is to stick to playing the Banker because it has the lowest house edge. Although, many players enjoy keeping scorecards that keep track of trends and patterns within the game.
